About The Role

The Cashier is responsible for providing fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service for customers. This role focuses on operating the POS system, handling transactions, applying discounts, and delivering excellent customer service. The Cashier plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and professional customer experience at the point of sale.

What You'll Do

• Operate the POS system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit, debit, and invoice payments in accordance with company policies.
• Provide friendly customer service by answering basic questions and assisting customers at checkout.
• Process returns, exchanges, and pricing adjustments according to company policy.
• Maintain an organized checkout area and ensure accurate transaction records.

What We're Looking For

• Previous cashier or retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic product knowledge or willingness to learn about appliances, pallets, furniture, tools, and general merchandise.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
